Commonwealth Games marathon gold (Kingston 1966) and silver (Edinburgh 1970). Morpeth Harrier and one of the most decorated British marathoners of his era.
Morpeth Harrier. Two-time Olympic 1500m finalist (London 2012, Rio 2016). Commonwealth silver, European bronze, sub-4:00.17 1500m for Great Britain.
